I picked up 2 of our 33 boxes of slate today. Our contractor is going to pick up the rest tomorrow. It looks great. I can't wait! It is getting installed either starting Wed or Thursday this week!
Our contractor built the cabinet around our fridge, leveled our cabinets in preparation for the granite, built a support for our island, added molding around our cabinets and will be putting in the shelving in our broom closet tomorrow. Tomorrow I think he is putting in all of the floor molding in the kitchen and doing the final sand on all of the spackling. He will also be doing the finishing touches in the bathroom. (minus the caulk and paint)
