A few updates

We discovered that the shower in our only fully functioning bathroom is leaking. As a result we bit the bullet, dropped a lot of cash and had the plumber come in to fix our guest bathroom.

The shower handle in the bathtub didn't work so you couldn't shower. He replaced the ugly faucet in the tub, fixed the drain, replaced the ugly faucet in the sink, redid all of the piping under the sink and put in a pump for our washing machine so that it pumps to our septic rather than our dry well. Chaching!!!!!!!$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. I'm so glad to see the only wood handle faucets go. They were awful!
It is hard to see but the new fixtures is a modern bronze color to match our light fixture rather than the orangey color it was. It is taller faucet so you can get things under it.

We couldn't get the tub faucet to match because we had a 3 handle and the conversion to one only came in chrome.

While Jeff was home this week he put up our living room curtains. We still need to make the wooden cornices for the top, but here is a sneak peek. The green matches the green in our rug.
