&^#$%^&^% Bed

So we finally put up the bed frame today.....

I'll make this short and just list the issues

1) We struggle to get the old frame apart
2) We couldn't get the pieces to fit together right so the new frame was rocking
3) We try and attach the headboard, but the screws we had from the old frame were too long (so off the headboard goes to the guest room)
4) We had to put little fuzzy feet on the back of the frame so that we didn't get gashes in our newly painted walls (although we did get depressions in the wall argh!!!)
5) The freaking wheels don't lock so trying to get the mattress back on the boxspring was a lovely experience
6) If you sit to hard on the edge of the mattress the other side moves upwards
7) trying to sleep on a mattress that moves every time someone rolls over is going to make for a glorious night of restful sleep! argh!

so glad this was the best option that they had ;-)

the only positive thing about this is that I was thinking that we should get a new bedroom set and moving the headboard made us realize that we don't really like it in the room. Of course new bedroom furniture is nowhere near that top of our $$ priority list... so we shall see....... maybe another store will go out of business and we can get a great deal on a bedroom set
